  14.  This is an update to Version 1.3 on the Fish Library Disk 537 from
  15.  Paul Hayter. I (Martin) tried to ask him for permission to release
  16.  this, but he has not answered. Because the copyright notice is left
  17.  unchanged and the original executable with documentation is included,
  18.  I do not think that I am doing something nasty.
  19.  (In the original distribution there was the source code included
  20.  and there is nothing stated to distribute it only unmodified.)

  22.  To make things easier I accept the same copyright notice for the parts
  23.  I have written. They are marked in the source with V2.x (well, mostly).
  24.  I estimate that about 80% of the source, executable and the documentation
  25.  is from me.

  27.  I would like to get your comment on ZShell to see if anybody is
  28.  using it and what can be improved.

  38. ABOUT THE SOURCE

  40. Please do not distribute modified versions of ZShell by your own,
  41. this would result in absolute chaos !
  42. The source code is provided, because there are so many interesting
  43. things in it and you can learn from it.

  45. It is OK to change the source to adapt ZShell to your personal needs,
  46. but if you want to distribute a modified version, you have to
  47. follow these rules:

  49. 1) It is strictly forbidden to use parts of the source or the whole
  50.    source or other parts of the ZShell distribution in commercial
  51.    software or in shareware !
  52. 2) You have to keep at least the copyright part, the author list and
  53.    the credits part of the documentation with your executable !
  54.    You may add yourself to them, but do not change them !
  55.    It is important that this remains freeware and all past authors
  56.    are still named as authors !
  57. 3) Distribute the source code with the executable !
  58. 4) Change the name of the program to avoid confusion !
  59. 5) Please contact me before, maybe I can include your changes into the
  60.    next release of ZShell !
